Visual Basic programs to scan title, author, and publisher with QuickLink pen
scanner, collect data in MS Access database, and interface with Website
search engine (ABE) for customer lookup and online shopping. ● Website: Designed a website for the bookstore,
including a book search page with Perl and java scripts, and developed the

Systems Analysis and Visual Basic Programming: ● Qualcomm
database: Designed conversion from
manual (Excel) account management system to an MS Access system, and
interfaced with SQL Server. Evaluated
thoroughly the XBS-Qualcomm contract and wrote VBA modules to generate
receivables for billing cycle based on contract specification for services
provided to Qualcomm by XBS campus facility.

Techniques Access Database: Designed
drug technique system in collaboration with Dr. James Crews. The system enabled rounding physicians to
generate exact dosages for patients in Anesthesiology Wing. Wrote a program to connect the Access
database to a Palm Pilot 3, providing access by physicians during patient
visits. ● Neurology and
Anesthesiology Testing: Designed and
coded a program to perform the
standard battery of neuropsychological tests using a Kurta digitizing tablet,
pre and post operatively, with cardiovascular surgery patients to measure
change in cerebral function. |
